Privacy policy

Effective 11 September 2026 · ABN 12 702 191 633 · ACN 702 191 633

This notice covers our company website, business enquiries and service communications. Our individual products have their own privacy notices for their particular data and features; this page does not replace them.

Who is responsible

Digital Enterprises Pty Ltd is responsible for the personal information described here and is the controller where the GDPR applies. Contact our privacy contact at support@digitalenterprises.com.au. You can request a copy of this notice or an accessible format.

Information we collect and why

Our enquiry form collects your name, email address, project brief and optional timeline directly from you. We store these details to assess and respond to your request, prepare a quote and maintain the associated correspondence. If you become a client, we also use the contact, project and billing information needed to deliver the agreed services and keep required business records.

Hosting and security services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested pages, timestamps and error logs to deliver and protect the website. We do not use this enquiry form for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

You can browse without making an enquiry. Without the required contact details and brief, we may not be able to respond. Please do not submit passwords, card numbers, identity documents, sensitive family or health records, or personal information about children through this general business form.

Use, lawful bases and marketing

Where the GDPR applies, we use information necessary to take steps at your request before a contract and to perform a contract with you. For business representatives and general enquiries, our legitimate interest is communicating about our services. Website protection and necessary administration also rely on legitimate interests, balanced against your rights. Required accounting and lawful disclosures rely on legal obligations.

Submitting an enquiry is not consent to a marketing mailing list. If we introduce optional email marketing or non-essential tracking, we will provide the necessary information and consent or opt-out controls first. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Service providers and overseas processing

We use Vercel to host this website and Supabase to store enquiries. Authorised operators and providers supporting hosting, communications, security and professional business administration may handle information as needed for those purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law. We do not sell enquiry information.

These cloud providers operate internationally, including in the United States, so information is not guaranteed to remain in Australia. Their infrastructure and subprocessors may involve other countries. Contact us for details relevant to your enquiry. Provider information is available in the Vercel privacy notice and Supabase privacy policy.

Where applicable law requires protections for overseas disclosures or transfers, those requirements still apply. For GDPR-covered transfers, an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism is required; merely submitting this form is not a waiver of transfer protections. You may request information about the safeguards applicable to your data.

Cookies and local storage

The current company site does not intentionally include advertising pixels or optional analytics. Hosting, security or authentication features may use technically necessary cookies. This notice is not consent to optional cookies. If optional tracking is added, we will explain it and provide prior consent controls where required, including a way to refuse and withdraw consent. Browser controls can also manage stored cookies, although blocking necessary ones may affect functionality.

Security and retention

Enquiries are stored in a database with access restrictions; the public form does not provide public read access. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Please report suspected unauthorised access to support@digitalenterprises.com.au.

Retention depends on whether an enquiry is ongoing, becomes a client engagement, or is needed for legal, accounting or dispute purposes. We aim to retain identifiable information only while needed for those purposes and to delete or de-identify it when no longer required. Backups and provider logs may have separate lifecycles; deletion from an active system may not immediately remove a backup copy. Ask us for the retention position applicable to your records.

Access, correction and GDPR rights

Contact support@digitalenterprises.com.au to request access to or correction of your information, or to ask for deletion. We may need proportionate identity verification, but please do not send identity documents unsolicited. We will explain any lawful reason we cannot fulfil a request.

Where GDPR applies, you may also have rights to erasure, restriction, portability and objection, including objection to legitimate-interest processing and an unconditional objection to direct marketing. These rights depend on the processing and any lawful exceptions. We will respond within one month to GDPR requests; if a permitted extension is necessary, we will explain it within that first month. Requests are normally free, subject to the exceptions permitted by law.

Complaints and changes

Send privacy concerns to support@digitalenterprises.com.au with enough detail for us to investigate. We will review the concern and explain our response. You may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where it has jurisdiction, or to your relevant European supervisory authority where GDPR applies. This does not require giving up any other available remedy.

We will update this page when practices change and show the effective date. Where required, we will separately notify you of material changes or seek consent for a new purpose.
